California bar...

The first bar we found in Cali had a Patriots theme. It didn't serve food, it was a "get drunk" style bar, and it smelled like Barselotties. Heather immediately knew if she didn't take action, I would spend our week and a half talking to drunken Pats fans about Pre-glory lore. Before I even got a chance to ask the owner what he loved best about the Leonard Russell years, Heather dragged me out.
This bar consisted of a huge television, Patriots paraphernalia everywhere, and a view of the pier you couldn't pay for. But, we were itchy from being stuck en route for over a day, so begrudgingly, I left to hit the public showers with our recently purchased shampoo and soap (the airline threw out the stuff we brought.
Before I die, I'm am going to organize a cross country tour of bars opened and operated by old school Pats fans who left New England, and this bar will be the finish line. I think we would have to start at Boston's on the beach near West Palm Beach and work our way coast to coast.
