Yesterday, I did nothing. I sat in the living room and watched television. My life still stops for snow storms. Better than any Christmas bonus, right at the end of an otherwise dreary, rainy and disgustingly muddy winter weekend.
I know I need to make up the day at the end of the year, but I just enjoyed the day off thoroughly. My hip was slightly unhappy, so I was happy to put off mountain snow tubing until this Friday at work.
Actually, work has been fun when we don't have snow days. Last Friday we watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3 on the big interactive screen, it was not bad day at the office, but nothing compared to the previous Friday's Beowulf 3D at the IMAX with complimentary popcorn and soda.
As a self identified liberal, it was tough to listen to the Clinton/O'Bama fight for the Black vote this week. The Boston Globe mentioned a Reagan Rule of campaigning. The Reagan Rule states that you should not attack a fellow party member running for president. The tightness of that Clinton/O'Bama race is going to leave them fighting for every last voter.
